Today when I went to pick up Reese I got there at our normal "kids being brought down to their parents car" but Reese wasn't there. So I figured I'd park real quick and hop out to see if Reese was on the stairs with Mrs. R like I sometimes find them. Well I meet Mrs. R coming down the stairs and she said "Oh you're here! Reese convinced us she was going to Cub Care today." I laughed and had to ask where it was located..... that stinker!

Reese conned her teacher, teacher's aide AND the Cub Care teacher that she was supposed to be in there! She had been signed in and everything. The Cub Care teacher said that Ava introduced Reese as her Best Friend and was going to be with her today.

I called Linda to let her know that Reese FINALLY got to go into Cub Care for a whole 5 minutes after she had been begging to go for the past 4 months... but not in a good way! And she asked if I had called Scott, not yet.... and she did say that she would bet that the first thing Scott would say is "I'm so proud." AND SHE WAS RIGHT!

When I told him what Reese had done he said "That's my girl!" and followed up with "It reminds me of when I convinced my first and second grade teachers to let me walk home from school without my parents knowing."

My goodness, what s.

Reese is now signed up for Pre-K next year. I can't believe my first "baby" is gearing up for kindergarten year after next! HOLY WOW!
 

Bumper Bowling!

Reese and Riley went Bumper Bowling for the first time today! Bumper bowling is where bumpers are let down over the gutters so the ball stays in the lane at all times.

Our Tuesday Playgroup met at the local bowling alley to have all the kids bowl a game and then have lunch afterwards with all their friends! I was so impressed how fast that they picked up on the game as well as how well all the kids in the group bowled! Reese tied with Joey, one of our bowling partners, with 82!

Linda came to watch the girls and she also hung out with Ashton. Everyone had a great time and can't wait to do it again! Thanks to Tiffany for setting it all up!

What a busy day!

Reese had her preschool Valentine's Day party this morning. They were running a little behind with regards to some crafts and a game, but it worked out just fine. The kids sang "I love you, You Love Me" for the parents in attendance and then they broke to hand out Valentine's and eat their snack.

The cereal boxes that we sent in earlier in the week were made into such cute Valentine's holders! I had sent in about 6 or 7 boxes, and I apologized for sending in so many, but I wasn't sure if everyone would remember and if all else, she could recycle the rest... Mrs. A said it was perfect because they got the majority of them done in one day! So it helped get everything going a bit faster.

And if you thought our day ended here, FORGET IT! Reese and I hustled up and drove over to pick up Riley and Ashton from Ma's house. Thank you Linda for keeping Riley and Ashton while Reese and I got to hang out! Then we raced over to CiCi's pizza for our Annual Valentine's Day party with my local mom's group.

I "lived the moment" as I forgot to take a photo of ANYONE or ANYTHING during the party, but it was so cute to have all 20 something kids handing out their valentine's eating pizza and everyone just having fun with one another.

After this?! We all came home and crashed for the day.

Today the kids and I headed our Panther Pals Playgroup's Valentine's Day party! It was a lot of fun having the kids decorate their own Valentine's holders and then pass them out.

Reese and Riley BOTH signed their own Valentine's and by the end of counting up all the ones we needed.... roughly 118 total. Yeah, a lot of Valentine's.

PJ Party

Today was Reese's PJ party at her preschool. The kids were asked to dress in their favorite PJ's and bring along a pillow or blanket and a friend. Riley wanted to wear her PJ's to a PJ party at Ma's house, so she dressed up too and had her book bag. They were too darn cute!

Our family headed over to Scott's Aunt and Uncle's for a small family gathering. Reese, Riley and Jack had a good time playing with eachother, mostly running around the pool table about 100 times, but the laughter and stopping by for a cookie or two was a perfect evening.

We also had family photos taken about an hour before hand! It wasn't planned, I had called to schedule Ashton's 5 month photos the weekend before for Saturday when the lady told me that if we came in on Sunday and wore our jersey's we got a free 10x13…. So yeah, we showed up in our Brownie Best!
