Reese's preschool had their Christmas performance this morning. It was incredibly cute to see all of them sing infront of the parents and complete their crafts.
Reese had been practicing bits and pieces of her songs at home.... especially a Santa song where the kids signed "S-A-N-T-A" I have got to wait to receive a disk from our camera's manufacturer and I'll try and post some video of it.

Reese also got a big laugh from everyone when she was trying to take off her sweater. Poor girl has her daddy's genes where she gets super hot. I asked if she could keep it on until Santa arrived, but at the end of her songs, I caught it on tape with her asking to take it off!
After their performance all the kids were broken up into 3 groups. I'm assuming that they are pre assigned groups already set in place as Reese knew exactly where to go. Each group then completed crafts. One table had a bell ....

And 2 different tables were parts to making Reindeer food!!! I had and have never heard of this little custom until this year, but after reading the little instructions on the back of their bag we'll definitely do this every year!

Santa did come in between the crafting which was SO COOL! Santa did a little magic trick with a special coloring book where the pages started out blank, then had outlines, then were in full color. Everything was with special magic in his fingers where the kids had to say that they believed in Santa to make the next step appear.

Some of the kids were asked to come up and touch Santa's hand to give him magic... Reese is on the end

What the last part of the coloring book magic trick... and then he "shook" all the magic back in the end of his finger.
After the magic trick was done each child was asked to come up to sit on Santa's lap to ask him what they wanted for Christmas and then received a "tasty candycane" as Reese called them. As soon as Santa hoisted Reese up on his lap the first thing out of his mouth was.... "you're a tall one!" Everyone chuckled, but as you can see from the photo of the entire class, she's 3rd youngest but one of the tallest, and will most likely be for the rest of her life. Fine by us! Higher learning hopefully in our future!

Everyone laughed when Reese asked for her "cupcakes."
