I have all the photos uploaded.... there are 110 photos... NO NOT JOKING!

Reese had a 4 day party! It started on Thursday, her official birthday day at Chuck E Cheese with our immediate family. Reese had a BLAST mostly riding the clock, but it was an all around awesome afternoon. Scott even picked up a cars cake for her!!! It was SO yummy, and of course the pizza and salad bar at CEC rocks too!

Cheesing it up with mommy!

Clocks!

"Mommy, I havin' fun!" when she still wanted to be in the horse! LOL

Reese had Chuck come out and singing Happy Birthday with her very own ice cream bar cake. Riley freaked out once she realized and could see that Chuck E was behind her! It was funny.... and she was pretty good after she was in Scott's lap.

Chuck E Cheese came out to sing happy birthday, Riley didn't notice him there.... yet.

She FINALLY noticed it and blew out the candle!

KACHOW!

We opened a couple of gifts and then we all had to scatter to get home before 8:30 when I had to leave for my volleyball game as Scott had already left from CEC for his basketball game at 8.

Tearing into a couple of presents from Ma and Pa! Cars on her right were opened earlier from Grammy B.

A BABY!!! Thank you Salvatore and Gabriella!

Both girls passed completely out for the night as soon as we got home.

Friday we spent the day with my mom toodling around town and finding some AWESOME deals on snow boots and jackets for BOTH girls! THANK YOU MOM! And got a few essentials for me too as a nice surprise! THEN we headed over to BJs and the grocery store to pick up all the meat, buns and the parfait stuff! Thank you again mom!

After afternoon naps we headed to Eat n Park for dinner and they were supposed to come out and sing happy birthday as my mom requested, but didn't, and to make up for it they gave her a dozen of their dinosaur cookies!!!! They are the BIG iced ones, SO YUMMY! And off to bed for as the Princess says in Shrek as Reese will tell me each night "We have a big day ahead of us!"

Linda and Tom came over around 10:30 to set up their special gift! It was funny to see everyone putting things together and using photos to place things where they should be. Definitely memorable!!!!

Saturday, it was going to be a HOT one!!! Ended up being 85 for the high!!! We got up nice and early and got a lot of the party stuff out of the way, only for me to realize that I had forgotten extra cake plates and juice boxes for the kids! WHOOPS!!! No worries, we are a stone’s throw away from everything, so I was able to pick up the balloons, cake plates, juice boxes and monkey cookies in less than 30 minutes and back to the house to finish up any last minute things, which surprisingly enough… wasn’t too bad. I was a bit stressed, but who hostess isn’t before getting stuff together? Scott helped me with a few odds and ends and kept the girls busy while everything else was going on. Linda came over around 10:30 to start making her famous mac n cheese!!! It’s always a HUGE HUGE HIT and there was hardly ANY left afterwards! She also brought over delicious baked beans and stuff too add to the burgers. THANK YOU LINDA!!!! It was cute to watch Reese and Riley both BEG for cheese cubes while Linda was making it…. They definitely are a bunch of cheese heads! AND we had a huge fruit tray with two different types of apples, mandarin oranges & strawberries. YUM YUM!

My mom helped me put together 15 parfaits before the first set of people arrived and placed them in the fridge until it was time so that they stayed nice and cold, but the Oreo cookies not get all soggy, worked out perfectly!

Everyone, all 25 adults and 12 kids, showed up as the first set of hotdogs burgers were coming off the grill! It was timed pretty darn close to 12:15. Then the organized chaos began! It was one WILD time but it was SO much FUN!!! All the kids were outside playing, I put the bubble machine out and that was AWESOME! I hadn’t used it before, so I was hoping that it would do the trick, and it did BETTER than I could have imagined! After eating Riley played a bit more, but before cake she passed out, she partied until she pooped out!

Some of the party goers having fun with the bubbles! Tracey is holding Emily's hand, Emily, Riley, Reese and Alexis.

All the kids having fun in the bubbles!

Kaleigh, Riley, Kim and Jack eating some lunch.

Reese and Justin eating some lunch.

This year we streamed lined things a little bit more, by putting all the food in the kitchen which really helped with the traffic flow and less food droppage, and we even have another idea that Linda came up with for drinks for the NEXT party in May for Riley! We always joke that with each party we improve more and more.

After everyone had eaten until they almost popped I then set up the cake! Lisa did another AWESOME job on the Lightening Macqueen cake and matching cup cakes!! She also made little black and white checkered flag cookies for my “famous” parfaits. All the kids faces LITE UP when they saw the cake, and of course Reese loved it as she was naming all the cars on the table cloth and of course telling me “Kachow!” when she saw Lightening. We all sang Happy Birthday and then well….. WE ATE CAKE! It was so delicious!

The AWESOME cake, cupcakes and parfaits! Thanks for the cake, cupcakes and cookies Lisa!!

The view most of the kiddos saw! heheheh

"Cheese!"

MMMMMM!!!

Tyler was checking out Mater!

Sarah, Tyler, Bradford, Jordan, Reese, Nate and Vincent enjoying cake and/or parfaits!

And we then were able to let Reese jump into opening all her gifts…. Holy gift explosion batman! Thank you to everyone who gave so generously!!! It was like Christmas in October!!!

Classic games from Ben, Gus and Amanda!

HER FIRST PAIR OF COWBOY BOOTS!!! Thank you so much Kim, Ryan and Jack!!!!

Checking out the Lightening car from Grammy B!

Cousin's Eric and Vicki gave this awesome jacket! Reese was too cute she put it on, then crossed it over her chest and sashayed out of the room.... we all died laughing!

What's in there?!

COOL!!!! HER FIRST DOLLHOUSE!!!

MY GOD..............The red block on the left and the horse head in the back are the only things that weren't gifts! THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!! IT was like Christmas x10! The next morning Reese was going through things and singing quietly to herself "Happy Birthday Reese...... Dear Reese...... Birthday To You.... Happy Birthday tooo youuuu."

Reese is going to be the BEST DRESSED preschooler EVER and have more than enough things to take with her to Monday’s Show and Tell until the end of the school year!!!! She LOVES EVERYTHING!!! She was too cute that evening as she was going through the stuff and I heard her quietly singing to herself “Happy Birthday….. Reese….. Happy Birthday To You….. Dear Reese….. Happy Biiiiirrrrrttthhhhhdaaaaayyyyyyy to YYooOOOuUUuuU!” Reese really did and does love everything and anything she touched it was usually followed up with “For preschool!” or “Little babies!!!” I will say that the HIT of ALL the presents was the GIGANTIC doll house with all the accessories that Tom and Linda gave to Reese. ALL the kids, heck, even the adults LOVED IT. I found Reese downstairs playing with it the next morning before we all got up with all her doll accessories surrounding her.

A lot of people stayed to play and just hang out, and of course, eat some more. It was just an awesome awesome day and so glad that Reese had a good time, as well as everyone else!!! Thank you to EVERYONE who attended and sent well wishes. It truly was a FANTASTIC 3rd BIRTHDAY FOR REESE!

Before any of the kids left, I made sure that they picked up their grab bags and the special little something "extra" I had made at our local bakery.... MONKEY COOKIES!!!

The girls' grab bags. The boys got more cars or a watche and no rings. :o} I made the little coloring books in the back to match her invitations!

The monkey cookies that were sent home with all the kids with their grab bags. They were all indivudually packaged in their own plastic containers for easy storage on the way home.

Back

Sunday we got up a little later, 7:30ish, and played with her toys and put together items and she picked out an outfit she wanted to wear. It was like her birthday all over again as it seems like when you thought we saw everything as soon as we moved something else it was a surprise what was under the pile! Scott did an AWESOME job the night before getting everything cleaned up while my mom and I took the girls out to get them each their own Barbie type doll for the house as all the dolls we have were a bit too big for it…. So there really wasn’t too much to do the following morning but relax, which we were all BONE tired, but Scott was the man, including Tom because I knew he was JUST as tired from Riley wearing him out!, that Scott went over on Sunday after our family breakfast to help him winterize the house and paint the shutters. The shutters look AWESOME!
Now we are gearing up for the rest of the week, and Reese was so excited to wear her Strawberry Shortcake outfit to preschool today with her favorite dressy sandals. It was a good way to start her first full week as a 3 year old!!!!!!

BUSTED!!!! This is how I found her when I came downstairs the next morning!

Showing off her bling

Riley loved her bling too!

Enjoying hanging out on Sunday evening the day after her party eating hamburgers and fruit with Riley.... "Let them eat cake!" hehe

I can't believe that my "baby" is 3 today..... I woke up at 7 AM on the nose and remembered where I was at that time 3 years ago today.... getting "checked" for the 70th time and FINALLY be at 3cm and THRILLED that I could finally be admitted after almost 30 hours of intense back labor..... and the weird thing is, that I wouldn't change a single bit of it because of what I was given in the end.... my sweet baby.

Amazing how in 3 short years she's change from

to

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AND I LOVE YOU SO VERY VERY MUCH!
