Poor Reese. Woke up at midnight SCREAMING in pain. I took her back to Children's ER to find out she had an ear infection. Cropped up in less than 36 hours from the time we left until we were back at the hospital.

They gave her some more motrin and some antibiotics. Back in bed by 2:40AM.... needless to say, we were all beat the next day.

We were in Target and Reese saw these cute soft jungle themed animals. She picked out one for Ashton, a soft cute cuddly giraffe. She kept saying "Mommy, that's for Ashton when he's born...." I didn't prompt her! She just said that! And then I accidentally tossed a pair of sandals in the cart and it hit the giraffe and Reese said "Mom! Careful, don't smoosh Ashton's giraffe!"

Scott wasn't in the same aisle as we were, so when we got in the car I said "Reese, did you tell Daddy what you got Ashton when he's born?"

Her response? "Daddy, I got him a giraffe, but he can't have it until he's older."

What a cruddy way to mark 3 1/2 years...

My poor baby.... Happy 3 1/2 years . Finally took her to the ER this morning because not only did she continue to puke, her fever wasn't letting up and her eyes were starting to swell, like a lot.... it alarmed me. Especially when at one point resting yesterday her heartrate was 140+ a minute. That freaked me out.

Children's gave her a prescription for Zofran, such a miracle drug in more ways than one, and to continue our regimend of tylenol / motrin.

Tonight Reese did keep down a few spoonfuls of soup, bottom part of a muffin and 8 Miniwheats. Hopefully she's feeling better tomorow!

Friends for Kelly!

Some know, but some may not, that one of my mom's in my local mom's group, Kelly Keith, was diagnosed with breast cancer last March. She did AWESOME with her first rounds of surgery, chemo and radiation. After a routine check-up in January a hot spot was found in her brain, later to be found to be malignant and had also spread to her spinal fluid.

Kelly has been incredibly brave and such an inspiration to an entire community. To help support Kelly and her family, Magic City Lettering in Barbeton donated Friends for Kelly T-Shirts for $10 where 100% of all proceeds go directly to Kelly and her family. My Spring volleyball team decided that we would make those t-shirts our jerseys. What's even more amazing is that when I went to pick up the shirts, which Sara H. and I paid a little extra to have our names put on the back, the sales lady told me that they had already sold 100 shirts and another 100 were on order! AMAZING!

Our first volleyball game for this next season was last night and I made sure to bring my camera to have our photo taken. I have printed it off and plan on bringing it by Kelly this weekend.

Be sure to visit FRIENDSFORKELLY.COM to read more about this amazing woman, her family and her fight to beat this awful disease!

Poor Reese , puked her brains out last night and most of today.... not sure what got into her, literally, but I'm hoping it's just her high temp that was making her sick, every time the motrin kicks in she wants to run around... though I try and make her stay on the couch. Poor kid.

She's been toting around her "puke bucket" as we're calling it..... and Reese was funny when I gave it to her (I washed it in the dishwasher on HIGH heat let me just preface) and she said "Mommy, this was your puke bucket when you went to the doctor."

I took a photo of her this morning, can we just say pathetic and I feel horrible for her?

Yes, I put her on the B.R.A.T. diet, and she was doing pretty good until after her nap when she decided to get a sippy cup and down a glass of water, only to promptly puke it up on the stairs. Needless to say "Little sips" have been a mantra since.

Reese thought it was so cool!

That she was able to feel Ashton kick last night! She would laugh hysterically when he'd kick her little hand. After Ash would move she'd say "Do it again Ashton, do it again!"

I also have to give Reese props because she felt Ash move before Scott!

Tis that season again! Reese started her Level 1 swim lessons today... however, they signed up her from the WRONG Level 1. She's in the water exploration where I'm in there with her for 4 classes and the last 4 she's in there by herself with the instructor. Needless to say, I didn't have my suit on, but the instructor was super nice and let her swim with her for the class. Reese was supposed to be in the class where all 8 classes she's with the instructor by herself. At least the Nat recognized their mistake and gave us a free voucher for another swim class when we are done with this one. Reese is still having fun, excelling and overall doing great! She's definitely a little fish in the water!

Thanks again to Grammy B, Grand Godmother Rebecca, Uncles Matt and Shaun for the girls' birthday gifts!

Reese had SO.MUCH.FUN!!! Heck, Riley and I did too!!! Jody, Joey's mom, is FABULOUS and her sons are adorable and rambunctious and definitely my type of peeps!

Joey is in Reese's class and Jody is who contacted me a couple of weeks ago because Joey asked if he could have us over. I'm so glad she did. It was just wonderful to hang out with her for about 2 hours.
